The Cabbage Soup Diet requires an individual to limit his or her daily caloric intake to just 1,000 calories, eating nothing more than cabbage soup. While cabbage should be a part of every senior’s diet, using it as the only source of food may result in nutritional deficiencies that could require months to recover from.
